Hi, I'm having a major problem with complete power loss under load.
It started approx 500 miles after the P1x installation. One night I got on it and the car completely fell on its face, the instrument cluster went out and the car started downshifting immediately. It stayed running, the cluster came back on immediately but it switched to normal mode from track mode. Car runs and drives around town just fine.
Took it back to the shop that did the installation for him to do a once over of all the connections. My suspicion is that the car is either losing voltage via bad plug connection or it's a ground. Never the less he didn't find anything. I took it home and got into it a few times and it was fine. Final time I gave it gas the car started misfiring and shaking. I immediately headed towards the breakdown lane and the car continued to sputter/misfire. I checked the oil along with any other signs of apparent damage and all checked out.
Decided to start the car and it ran completely normal. I nursed it home and it ran fine. I'm looking for ideas as to where this connection that is failing may be. Hoping someone has experienced this before. I pulled the codes on the Procharger handheld, they're all related to misfires, canbus losing connection with ECM , battery voltage.
