Has Ford officially stopped producing the convertible boot inserts?

There have been a few threads on this but I'm wondering if we ever got an answer on if Ford is producing these for the S650 or not? Are they an option anymore?

When i got my 2024, the dealer told me Ford is not delivering those with the 2024 version. I I went to buy the new car on my 2020 Convertible (switched it for the new one), which had the side covers, but they were in the trunk, in the original plastic bags...in 3 years, I never used them!

Nope, they don't have it.

They stopped including it with the convertibles a few years ago apparently (~2021) but my understanding is that they could still be ordered as a dealer accessory, at least in the S550 models. I was wondering if they could be ordered for the S650, but it sounds like they may not be offering them anymore even as a special order.

I'm trading my 2017 for a 2024. I'll bet the ones I have for the 2017 will fit the 2024, but like most everyone else I virtually never use them.

I sold my 2018 before I bought the 2024. I still have the inserts and they fit the 2024. Like scazea, I never used them on the 2018 even though I bought them for somewhere around $100 (If memory serves me correctly). Not sure why I checked them on the 2024, but they fit. They are back on the shelf until I buy my S750 in 2030.

I stopped using them even for car shows because I felt they were damaging the top where they rubbed on it. I will probably let them go to the new owner when I sell the 2015. I am waiting until I see my car has shipped to put it up for sale.

I also stopped using mine due to damage to the roof. They are great for car shows, etc.

When I Traded in my 2017 S550 I kept the covers. They fit my new S650. As previous members mentioned I also am concerned that over time they may damage the roof through chaffing when driving and rubbing when installing. I will only be using them when the car is parked with the roof down for any length of time for the look.
If I didn't already have them I would not waste the money on getting a pair.
