Had the car less then a week.... Some issues I've noticed.

Dropped my car off at the dealer for a few things I’ve noticed so far:
(300a 2024 GT 6m)

  • Driver’s side bumper sagging
  • Pop-up warning for front camera failure
  • OTA (over-the-air) updates not working at all.
  • Chrome peeling/chipping inside the headlight housings
  • Headliner not lining up properly with the window gasket—noticeable gap there

Anyone else seeing these issues? I know the bumper sag seems pretty common. Hoping the dealer takes care of all this under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. My service advisor was actually super helpful, so fingers crossed.

I had my GT for a month before all of the OTA updates were caught up.

Super duper normal typical stuff O.P…. Part of why these cars are so affordable.

im sure the dealer will do their best to deliver a vehicle to your standards within reason.

I’ve had pretty much all that from day 1 and never even thought to care..

Agree with GTB. No new updates for mine. Car was just built two months ago so software still current. I’ve been fortunate so far with no issues. 1,300 miles.
OTA updates can even take longer than 5 months.

Based on what? These aren't cell phones. You don't get to press a button and the car updates. It can be days, weeks, or even months between OTAs being sent to your vehicle. I suggest you read upon how it all works -- we've discussed it all ad nauseam on here and the F150 forums.

Based on its running a firmware update from May 2024. (6.2).

You could’ve made your point without the condescension. Just because someone asks a question doesn’t mean they haven’t already read up on it — especially on a platform where info is scattered across 40-page threads.

Appreciate the insight about the firmware version, but maybe try offering info without the superiority complex next time. It’s a forum, not a pissing contest.

Clearly, I was correct: You don't understand how the OTA process works. Use the SEARCH function.

Sorry, no hot cocoa or therapy dogs here.

I defended you in the other thread, but no amount of whining is going to stop me from stating obvious facts.

Yes, reality and adulting can be hard for some.

OTAs don't work like cell phone updates. Why is it so hard to accept this fact?

roadpilot is an acquired taste but you'll grow to love him over time like the rest of us. He may be a little direct but he knows his stuff. 😉
There is being direct and being a person who always wants to make the other person look like a fool.

You can't become an expert without making all the mistakes first. So it's totally unacceptable to act like this to others who are still in the learning fase while you were in the same position at a certain time.

Acting like the way he does has to do with other personal issues he is struggling with we don't know about.
