I bought my convertible a few weeks ago, and since then the weather has apparently decided to declare war on me. Record-low temperatures, snow, and all-around miserable conditions showed up almost immediately. My friends are convinced this is entirely my fault and firmly believe that buying a convertible somehow triggered a seasonal catastrophe. According to them, the moment I signed the paperwork, winter took it personally.

Since I am a professional photographer with excellent Photoshop skills, I created this photo to reflect my current mindset and my plan while I wait for spring to finally show up.
I'm 66 and waited 54 years for this car....

You're not wrong. I'm starting a business as a rainmaker. For $1000 I'll drive to a drought area and wash my car.

I bought from a dealer in Rutland VT, a roughly four hour drive one way, there’s a saying in NE, you can’t get there from here. I was smiling the whole four hours home.

I’ve had mine for about a month now, and I don’t think I’ve driven it for more than four hours total. To be fair, it spent about a week and a half in the shop getting stripes, the windows tinted, and a Ceramic Pro coating applied. The shop was also kind enough to store it for me during the big snowstorm.

Congrats on the new pony. I'm not a white fan, but on the snow it looks great. I'm into bright colors, Grabber Blue 💙 is a legacy color. Paying my respects to the Boss 429 with my 2025 DH.

I wanted to order a MY26 in Molten Magenta but the deal we worked was worth it.

Congratulations on the car. Wimbledon white is a classy old school Mustang color. Much nicer than than the regular white IMO. My 65 was Wimbledon white. 😎

I was really happy I went with the '25. I love the built in garage door openers. My last two cars have had them and I was really disappointed when I heard Ford dropped them in the '26s. Damn bean counters.

I really like your Wimbledon White, it's another legacy color. I'm just partial to bright colors, especially on factory hot rods like the Boss cars.

I'm in the same boat - it was either custom order a '26, or find something I wanted in '25 stock. Thank goodness for the internet... The homelink, and to a lesser extent the lighted door sills, were important to me. They should have remained as options, even if at an extra cost.

I'm happy with my decision. As an added bonus, I got Wimbledon White with retro wheels instead of the silver or vapor blue I was considering.

You bought a convertible. Living in Maine.
I had a cow orker from there and he lovingly referred to it as "9 months of winter and 3 months of damn poor sledding".

#Respect!
If I'm being honest, I expected it to be colder in Maine when I first moved there.

The summers are painfully hot.
