Good quality USB powered dash cam?

I got a Viofo A139 pro. Uses the new Sony starvis 2 sensor. The video quality is excellent. Uses a USB-C connector for power.

Honestly I would wait to see if Fitcam does one for S650 or if their current one works in it. That thing is perfect for S550..buddy of mine has it installed, and I am planning to order one soon. Looks OEM.

One of the things interesting is that they only did the USB-C power behind the mirror for the premium trim. The base and DH are said not to have it via Ford Authority. I will be getting a camera to mount. Looking at probably the VIOFO A139 PRO 2 CHANNEL so I have something recording out the back as well.

After that dashcam thread a while back I'm only getting something with the Starvis 2 sensor, the A139 seems to be a great choice.

As far as USB powered, why not just go the extra mile and hardwire to the fuse box? You'll be missing out on features like park mode.

I will probably go that route but want to see if it is constant power first. Im not sure if it is or not.

That would honestly be a nice quality of life feature.

It has both USB & 12V chargers in the package. I have a Garmin Dashcam Mini 2 in my grand wagoneer and it came with a 12 volt adapter, but I just plugged it into the USB port and it works fine.

I think you can order the usb cord from Amazon. I couldn't find one shorter than 3' though.
