I'm not sure if I'm late or not, but back on topic.. I have a dashcam that came with a 2nd camera that I could ran to the back for a rear facing angle. Well I didn't hook that up, since I'm more afraid of who I might hit, but I was thinking of trying to run it to the front and having it somewhere in the grill and tucked away. My only thought is that it would be kinda small on my little dashcam display. Since I back in most places I go, that won't be used that much, but when I do it could be sufficient.

Is it weatherproof? If not, maybe a housing with a clear panel?

Some kind of action cam operating off a switched circuit.
Actually, if they are compatible, it would always be on since it would be connected directly to the dash cam. At least that is how my current cam would work.

Every car I’ve had, I was able to visually line up the bottom of my side view mirror with the curb when parking nose-in. That always put the front of my car a perfect distance from the curb.

I tried that with my new ‘25 GT, and ended up like almost 3 feet from the curb! I need to come up with a new side mirror-to-curb ratio….lol.

Episode whatever of "days of our sensors".
I found a car audio shop that does sensor installs. He seems knowledgable and gets mostly good reviews.
He's sourcing a canbus switching device to arm the existing set up according to vehicle speed.
That should be the tidiest solution to the falsing.🤞

I know this is an old thread, but how did this work out?

My mustang is the first vehicle in many years that doesn’t have a front parking sensor and it’s one feature I really do miss.

Oh I think it's a good feature, and I wouldn't mind having it. My point is I think we have an over reliance on car tech to do basic functions, and that not having it really isn't the problem people make it out to be. Am I still allowed to be in this thread lol?
Maybe they should offer a driver as an option. Nevermind.......

In the end I kept the sensors as is and fitted a cheap front parking cam. It's manually switched, but I can live with that.

Has someone finally find some proper sensors for this big nose buddy?

I know that nobody needs them, because we all are professional drivers, but just in case.

In Germany, there is a specialist who installs OEM sensors and makes it work on Sync4. His company is called Komford and he's the best out here.
