A year ago there was someone on another forum saying that the holes were gone, again people asked for pictures but nothing ever was posted.

I guess we need to wait a couple of more months until those fender lines with the holes are out of stock before they put the closed ones on.

Glad to hear you got your vert. How many days/weeks before the actual build date were you notified of that date? I’ve had a build week of May 5 and vin since March 13. I’m planning to tape the fender hole before driving off the lot and installing a rubber cover as described in other posts when I get her home.

Looks like they fixed the hole..

How can I tell the job number?

Unbelievable!

Job number is determined by when it was built. Roughly:
Last half of 23 = 24 job 1
First half of 24 = 24 job 2
Last half of 24 = 25 job 1
First half of 25 = 25 job 2

Looks like a flap that is bolted in place once the car comes off the line - you can see where it was flexed up. From the pictures of the line the hole is where the shell is fixed to the line before the wheels go on.

Patiently waiting for my REIMBURSEMENT CHECK from Ford for the DIY kit and install labor. 🤔
