I think the link I referred did work. What he described is what I after: "3 lights amber, then 2 amber and 1 white, then 2 white and 1 amber, then all white".

Here is a video how it looks like at 1:30, I think all us model have this by default.

It's not the link that doesn't work. The adress in Forscan didn't work.

This is to change your headlight module to North America settings.
This could be the reason why the other lines didn't work.
Change it to 2 (North America) and see if the other lines that you changed will do their job.

Easy I will try that. Maybe the amber DRL you've been trying to figure out also relates to region?

Could be.

They even have MARS as a region. Maybe that's the one, since I don't know any region on earth that has this enabled.

2 =R NA - North America5 =R MARS

@roket What do you know about the MARS region?

I saw that MARS region the other day looking through the spreadsheet... that HAS to be it! (for amber DRL) 😁

Yeah, just like many other things, some options are blocked even if you put the right adress, because your region is set to the regulations of the country. I had this issue when trying to enable TSR. Everything was set right but it didn't work, because the region was different.

Not too familiar with the regs on Mars... perhaps amber DRLs are a requirement... 😁

@allenouo

I compared Canada, USA, Europe and GCC all together at once and found all the light differences.
Also there is indeed a regional difference which probably blocked the changes you made earlier.

Hereby the lines you can change to possible get the turn signals work as you wanted.

HCM
734-10-01xxxxxxxxx2--

LDCMA
6F6-01-02xxx0xxxxxx--

LDCMB
6F7-01-02xxx0xxxxxx--

BdyCM
726-38-01xxxxxxx0xx--
726-56-01x1xxxxxxxx--

This should fix your changes. Let me know. If this is not it, I give up.

Holy cow, I didn't expect that this wouldn't work. I'm sorry man, I literally compared everything side by side on the HCM, BCM and LDCMA/B for the lights.

This could be a actual hardware problem. Just like how our 'pony' lamps only work when the mirrors are folded.

Yeah it could be. What I found out is that the European headlights have automatic level function.
So for example, your driving up or down on a hill, the headlights will automatically turn down or up, to avoid blinding other traffic. so yeah there might be headlight differences and witing differences.
