Forscan help ?

Im interested in getting and using the Forscan app ect. Can someone help me with that do i need to buy something special to use this? Im familiar with ECUTEK kit that i bought for my 370z. Can my phone be used to do certain things or only a computer? I would buy it if necessary within reason of course.

You definitely need to use your laptop.
search You Tube for introduction Forscan videos. I found the videos to be more helpful than reading how to on here and most people on YT will put links to the connector you need there are a few options

Is there a way to use my Samsung fold 7 on Forscan? I see there is an0 android version but it's confusing to figure out if it can change settings/options ?

Forscan lite... here. No configuration via android, only reading parameters.
