Have you gotten any further with Forscan? My cable arrives tomorrow and I’m just trying to figure out how to enable the new door sill plates (illuminated) that should be able to be powered by the MyColor system.
Yes. I did it several weeks ago. It's not difficult, but some of the descriptions I've read online gloss over steps. I posted it in another thread somewhere. Message me if you have questions. 👍🏻

This video doesn't go into how to set up forescan on your computer (which is a whole process). But it is very helpful in doing the the actual change.

Thank you my friend.

I’m trying to also figure out how to enable the illuminated door sills - we shall see. Cable isn’t here yet

Never heard of the door sills not being enabled. You sure that's not a factory screw up?

Yeah, mines a 301A that came without the illuminated door sill plates (just plastic).

added them this weekend:

The plug was there in the wiring harness so it bolted right up, but looks like it needs to be enabled in Forscan.

Oh I didn't realize you added them. Makes sense now. 👍🏻

I've just received my Vgate vLinker FS Bluetooth OBD2 device and downloaded Forscan, the iOS version is super limited so I went to download the Windows version but Avast is flagging it as a malware/trojan program.

Anyone else experienced this? Did you just add an exception or download an earlier version from somewhere else?

Yes, I read some other anti virus/malware software falsely marked it that.
You can add an exception and/or delete that software all together - Windows defender has developed so much that it should be all a typical user needs ;)

I uploaded the downloaded Forscan.exe file to https://www.virustotal.com/ and only 4/68 virus scanners flagged it as malware (Avast, AVG, Skyhigh and VBA32), all others (including Kasperksey, BitDefender,, Fortinet, Malwarebytes, Microsoft, Sophos, McAfee) detected nothing malicious.
