Seems. Easy enough. I'll get the cable and give it a try.

Is the seat belt display when you start the car something you can disable in easy mode by chance?

I would love to get rid of that using a simple procedure that doesn’t impact other things. But the info I’ve seen posted does not seem to fulfill that desire.

Thanks guys. You didn't have any issues or errors afterward?
The only issues i had was as per my comments at start of this thread, but they seemed to have sorted itself out next time i started the car. No problems since.

Was this using the "easy" method of enable/disable?

Just a thought. Any chance those problems could have been the result of the battery going into the battery saver mode. If doing lots of settings, programming etc with the car not running it pulls lots of power from the battery. The symptoms sounded battery suspicious. Just curious.

Was done using Easy mode.

Issue could of been caused by battery going into the battery saver, only the car knows.
I did have the car on (not running) for a while, while playing around. Wouldn't surprise me as it did change some settings as though I disconnected the battery

Will see how I go next time updating something.

Would like to get a pic of all the changes possible in each module so can go through them in my own time rather than sit there looking while car on..one day.

So disabled Stop /Start feature (easy way. not via spreadsheet), works ok.

Am now getting message "Charging system Service soon".

I tried resetting BMS (battery management ) the below way, still no good as in message still shows.

1 Switch ignition on (engine off)
2 Pull and release high beam 5 times.
3 Press and release brake pedal 3 times.
4 If successful the battery light will flash 3 times within the next 15 seconds
5 BMS reset completed.

Have checked a few YT clips etc but can't find any resolution except to reactivate the function.

Anyone have message appear & managed to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Have not seen anybody turning auto start/stop off via Forscan successfully.
There's a 100 or so bucks module you have to install behind the main display that will do the job.

Thank the lord my car didn't come with auto start/stop. Properly the most annoying feature made since automatic seatbelts. Lol

I've got the Forscan app updated and the correct cable they recommend.

Two things I want to disable are ANC and ESE b/c I'm getting a new audio system soon.
I'm wondering if these two settings are in, what I call the easy part, where I just choose a 0 or 1 value. Or are they in the spreadsheet part where I have to change values in memory.
