I called one of my contacts at Chevrolet and this is what he told me about the new Camaro and actually sent me artist rendition that should be release if not already released...Here is the photo he sent me...To me it looks like the recent Impala...

I quite like how the 2016-2018 Camaro looks, but I can't see Chevrolet using its design cues wholesale again (or see the 2014-2015 fifth gen refresh if you want to go further back) for a 2028/2029 model.

My first impression with these renders are that the side profile in particular doesn't look like it matches, let alone compliments the 6th gen front/rear design. Then again, I'm not a professional car designer (I just do that as a personal hobby.)
