agreed. I have 2,500 miles on mine. I am super careful on what roads to take and not follow cars closely, but somehow I already got 2 chips on the hood....I got the same POS you did. Upon delivery no issues. 800 miles later and chips are starting to pop.
manās this happened prior to the bomb drop that was the zr1. There are enough people whoāve publicly cancelled their Gtd order to extrapolate the idea that Ford grossly miscalculated.Ford received 7500 reservation requests for their 1000 planned GTDs. id say they know that audience pretty well with their GT experiences
nope. That will likely be reached when the zr1 posts a āring time.Have we reached maximum density for whining and crying yet?
Apparently not ...
Are you talking cars here? Relax, this is a car forum, keep those opinions out of this space. While I agree to a point we seem to forget about the jacklegs in Washington DC and their genius management of our nation. Out of control politicians, knuckleheads making economic decisions, the over burdened regulatory environment and deficits in the many trillions and and not to mention out of control inflation with oil prices out of control because we donāt have the willingness to drill for oil. Iād say that probably has more effect on car sales in general and the Mustang Sports Car class specifically. Yes Ford has its own serious issues but letās not blame only Ford. Automobile prices have gone through the roof over the last 10 years. Supply chain problems and the list goes on. Thereās a lot of blame to go around but Ford is not to blame for high interest rates and out of control inflation. Donāt get me started on the lack of work ethic in our country. Thereās a segment of our work force that just wants a job getting paid, work not so much. Commercial aircraft with doors and panels falling off? Ford has the same issue finding people who really want to work. Results? Recalls galore. Chevy has the same problems if weāre being honest. You want a Corvette go ahead and buy one. Last time I checked itās a free country. Personally I like my S650 GT just fine. Just my opinion. And you have the right to yours. Did I mention the borderā¦ā¦..![]()
Lord knows if the resale was anywhere near tolerable, it would have been gone already shortly after delivery. Nonetheless, I've worked through with the dealers and Ford over time to make the car manageable/reliable. Still have some electronic issues to sort out but I've already gone too far down the rabbit hole(months out of service) to back out. We'll see how they do with handling the next few issues. For sure though, not buying another new one ever. Things seem to work out better when I am the warranty and can just order parts and start wrenching or go to the dealer and pull out my credit card when things go wrong... It's amazing how much more accommodating they are for solving your problem when you're paying them their labor rate instead of Ford's warranty labor rate.only one thing to do. sell it and move on. sorry you got one of the bad ones. every brand has some lemons. your bad luck you got one.
You just can't be wrong can youmanās this happened prior to the bomb drop that was the zr1. There are enough people whoāve publicly cancelled their Gtd order to extrapolate the idea that Ford grossly miscalculated.
I bet I have owned more Mustangs than you ever had and here are a few. I am really disappointed in how much Ford is charging for the Mustang. Only a blind loyalist would say different the Dark Horse top spec is over 90,000 for a 500 hp mustang when in 2022 you could buy a GT500 with 760hp and DSG transmission for 75,000+. The joke is on us 2 years latter with the overpriced Mustang's. I have driven the Dark Horse and its a nice Mustang but it no where near a 90.000 dollar car in top spec form. It has nothing special compared to a Mach1 other than tires, wheels, forged pistons and a newer face. I am in the process of getting a 2022 GT500 very low miles just under 2,000 miles like brand new for less than the top spec Dark Horse with way more power, sounds better and is allot faster in everything I enjoy. I have never owned a Corvette probably never will but it sure would be nice to be able to buy a 1,000+ horsepower Mustang for under 200,000 that does 235 like the Corvette, one can dream. I do not buy the inflation thing because inflation rate is no where near where the car prices went it just greed.A non Mustang owner slags of Ford and Mustangs whilst promoting a Corvette on a Ford Mustang forum. Smacks of desperation.
There have been trolls like this before...
Maybe they need a 5.2 V8![]()
Umm pot, please meet kettle! You just can't be wrong can you
When is your GTD arriving?Umm pot, please meet kettle!
The irony of complaining about greed in a capitalist country!Inflation 3-4%
Greed % Unknown......
Because it is not just the greed of Ford, but their suppliers as well.
Sorry but I donāt quite understand. When is your GTD arriving?![]()
Well according to your earlier post they must be struggling to shift them now so surprised they aren't giving them away?Sorry but I donāt quite understand.
Huh? Struggling to shift them? Again, I have no idea what youāre talking about. It would seem that gives us something in common.Well according to your earlier post they must be struggling to shift them now so surprised they aren't giving them away?
