If it isn't in your oil and is not visible coming out your tail pipes (easy to see) and there are neither leaks from the block (easy to see and smell - sweet smell) nor from your inside cabin heater (easy to smell - sweet smell) then the rise and falls are normal for where you live and drive. BTW at every oil change I do (yes, I'm ocd and do them more often) my dealership tops-up all engine compartment fluids as part of the oil change package so I'd have no indication that there low level indicators - except that when I put that question to them they said " MT if we saw a level that indicated a problem you'd be the first to know. "
None of that is evident so even the drop I experienced from July to beginning of September? Temperature and time can do that?

Probably a small amount of air in the system which has bled out over time. The volume change in the header tank is very small between the max and min.
This is definitely what I was leaning towards.

This is just an opinion .... I think you are over thinking this. There is a reason that the overflow bottle has "min" and "max" lines - because the "volume" of the coolant does FLUCTUATE. As long as its visible, its not leaking, it is sufficient for the engines cooling needs. As for why ... stay tuned, you'll likely get a dozen "arm chair expert" explanations.

I tend to do that. I thought their might be a logical reason I read a few threads where owners mentioned filling their coolant because they were low from factory and then it hadn’t moved since.

All good, I was never worried more so curious. I read other posts of owners had this issue and they filled it to max and then it stayed that way. So I was wondering why mine didn’t do that is all.

The car has almost 13k miles as it sits bought it brand new December 2024. It is parked in the same spot religiously. I have an extensive record of my coolant level in the overflow tank from when I filled it to max in July when cold and have watched it slowly drop and even go back up a little over several months. Like everyone else I had a low level from factory so I filled it to max when cold it was slightly below the min line. It appears to have stabilized but I can’t tell. I don’t even see why it would drop in the first place after I filled it. Oil analysis doesn’t show any coolant in oil. I have been reading different threads on 7g and have talked to another owner in private messages about it. Don’t really know what to think of it or if I should even do anything about it like top it off again? This spans from July 2025 to December 2025. Knowledge is helpful and that’s why I’m sharing. It ends at 12/13/25 I'm not sure why it double posted the photos. Anyone who has experienced this or has extra insight would love to see your thoughts thanks.

You should of recorded ambient temperatures with your pictures. I believe you would see a correlation between ambient temps and coolant level in the expansion tank.

Small update for the thread. After speaking with @MustangNoob and learning of him having the same issue and his dealer finding leaks that ended up causing him to get a new motor I have scheduled an appointment in February with my dealer. As of this morning I’m back at the minimum line I started at July 2025. Yes I understand the temperature differences between July and end of January as it’s much colder here in Texas but I believe there has to be something to explain this. Two photos attached. After modding the car so much a new motor would absolutely suck.

Another update. Ran the car did some pulls and parked it checked the coolant level and it was near max which is from running the car. Waited 3 hrs checked again and it declined some more which is expected. There has to be something that explains what’s going on. If I filled it cold months ago it should stay that way and still be at the same level cold. Obviously Ford has some sort of design that is regulating the level in this thing. On the flip side I feel like if I was actually losing coolant the level wouldn’t get anywhere near max after running the car.
