Expected gain when tuning a stock manual GT?

I havent looked at a euro spec GT tunefile yet but as the DH to GT Im sure its very similar just with more tq management applied to the euro GT. Fueling is probably different too, but Im just guessing.

That’s apples to oranges though as the Aussie GT is detuned stock and comes in 15-21 horsepower below a base GT in the states.

Correct.
Unfortunately, the GT we receive down under is rated at 465hp and 550nm. So my GT now, after the tune, is similar to a base GT in the US.

That's interesting. I have read comments from a few members saying that they like the throttle response in Normal mode, but find the Sport mode throttle to be too sensitive. You think that the stock throttle response, even in Sport Mode, is like a boat anchor?

Its better but not much. It feels twitchier due to a non linear jump in the pedal to throtle ratio and a bit more wheel speed. Normal feels like its holding back. Inverse of the sport throttle response. I have a tune from p1 tuning runs much better, but i tune all my cars as i never like the factory tunes. The feel may be different with different rear gearing. 3:15 vs 3:55 vs 3:73. I have the 3:55 and its ok just not a fan. Friends 3:73 car feels more snappy. Ill probabbly get a set of 4:09 gears for now.

First few weeks of tuning opening. I updated through the rtd4 and tdn about 2 months ago.
