Haters will hate. I’ve driven and owned all variations of NA mustangs since 2015.
GT350 was a special car that needed to be driven and maintained like a race car.
a real unicorn and one of my favorite cars of all time that I never had the balls to buy!
On the other hand I honestly believe The Dark Horse is the best all around street, manual sports car ever made. Modern tech, handling and power, all brought together with a quiet , solid chassis.
Pick your poison!
There is no hate here Sir. Just commenting on the race, as imperfect as it was. If I wasn’t so damn old I might be able to get into the new dash.
Just an analog guy in a digital world sadly. Anything new with a warranty is a good thing. There is little else to compare with a Mustang. Luckily we here all get to drive one!
Don’t fear the 350. There was less than a 1% failure rate. The early owners were not taught how to care for these beasts. Just gotta warm up all the forged parts before having fun. You wouldn’t want one as a daily, but they make an excellent weekend or event car. Whatever you have, drive it, and take care of it.

How does an M2 or 240i weigh as much as a Mustang? They're not big cars.
And that’s one of the knocks of the M2 G87 at 3,800 lbs. That’s why most buyers will go for a F87, F80 or G80.

Still, the G80 Sedan at 3,800 lbs weighs less than a Dark Horse at 4,000 with superior build quality, and more QUICK potential with the S58. Wild.

Most people I know that had a 350 have been thrilled to sell it and move on… can’t believe they’re over 10 years old now… wow

I do have 1 older guy I know that kept his R, but he just puts it to a car show once in awhile and back to the garage.

Genuine question: Why are people you know thrilled to get rid of the 350? I grant you that my 350 isn't my daily, but I am hoping that it's the one car I will never sell, and can continue to use it well into retirement.

I’m guessing it’s people with Gen 1 motors that haven’t blown who are thrilled to sell

I agree with you completely......if mine was more then a Sunday morning car I would not own it... would most likely own a Dark Horse....

So sorry, but the “older” technology of the GT350 kicked ass. Turns out that heavy tech and tablets aren’t that fast. But they sure do cost more!
Just sayin’
True, you're not wrong.
