Disappointed

My Mustang was built 18 days ago and still has not shipped out yet….. ETA still says on the tracker 7/10-7/16 and well that week has passed….

Very disappointing because I was hoping I could enjoy it for at least part of the summer months.

Also disappointing because I talked to people who had theirs built the same week as mine and they shipped and were delivered already.

Never labeled as shipped so from my understanding it never left the plant… makes me wonder if quality control flagged it????

Or maybe they are holding it for some other reason.

It’s labeled as convoy and supposed to be delivered by truck to my dealership in KY

Called my salesperson and she said she didn’t know anything else and could only see what I see.

Hope I can at least get it by at least the first of August

I couldn’t find one with the options I wanted anywhere, it was impossible to find.

the lots only had base models and premium GTS

No dealership had a mid level optioned car

Waiting sucks, but it will come. It will be all the more glorious when it does.

May be a delay with the transportation arrangements. Have patience, it will get to you. I remember waiting for my car to be shipped to me. Lol, it was like Where is it?? They should be here by now. When it did arrive, my oh my.

I know the waiting sucks, but there are so many independent pieces. Your car might have just missed its ride out of Flat Rock. My 2025 last spring just missed its ride to Colorado. My second Mustang (first was a 2022) to be ordered, built, and shipped. In my case, the window sticker said CONVOY, but that’s the initial departure from the plant. Some are driven right on to a rail car, some are convoyed to the final destination, and some are convoyed a short distance to be loaded onto a rail car. In my case(es), convoy to local rail car, train ride west to the Denver area, then another convoy from Denver to my dealer in Colorado Springs. Unfortunately my 2025 just missed a train and it waited 2+ weeks until another train was ready to go. Another forum member’s Mustang (he was from WA state) and mine were on the same train — it traveled on to the west and NW after they dropped some railcars in Denver. So mine took just about a month from BUILT to delivered.

Hope you get your car soon. I sure enjoy mine!
