Hey team,
I had just ordered an RTR spec 3 and the dealer has found me a dark horse.
so question. which way do i go of the 4 options
go ahead with Dark horse and supercharge it?
go ahead with RTR spec 3
get the dark horse, keep it factory and get the spec 3 too
or should I get the dark horse supercharged and get the spec 3 too.

any advice or ideas are welcome. I have 16 hours to decide.
thanks
Taib

get the Dark Horse and supercharge it. the RTR may be neat and capable, but the Dark Horse is more capable than the RTR could wish to be at basically everything, especially on the track with the two-piece front rotors and differential fluid cooler. also for the same price as the Ford Performance supercharger, you can get a stage 2 Whipple and it makes 65hp more. you can get it in custom colors, or even have Whipple powder coat it whatever color you can find from Prismatic Powders. plus the high density heat exchanger and dual intercooler pump upgrades are offered

I like the RTR stuff as I have a lot of their stuff on my car. However; the Darkhorse is a factory Ford vehicle that will retain its value better, has better options and hardware installed. If for the same price, definitely go with the Darkhorse.

theres 3k (1840 USD) between the darkhorse with the whipple kit and a full spec 3 RTR. 810hp Darkhorse being cheaper, black and auto

If you can comfortably swing it, and since you listed it I assume you can, here is the 100% indisputable answer right here in your own words:

”get the dark horse, keep it factory and get the spec 3 too”

You would have the happiest garage imaginable!

unfortuanately i dont know if i can get that stuff here in NZ as alot of things arent offered here - We only have one version of GT and its auto. Dark horse (only about 140 in the country) only has one edition (auto or very limited manual) and no track packs or anything available either

the differential cooler and magneride is standard on the Dark Horse, regardless of sale location or transmission
