that makes sense, but those number still seem unsafe
looking back on what i said, that was nonsense. i think i forgot how bulletproof the Coyote engine is. also, i'm pretty sure i was confusing something. basically, just ignore my previous comments as they're pointless noise. im gonna justify it as "bored with nothing happening at work at 13:00 on Friday, so i'm not really paying attention"Why is it unsafe? These motors are reasonably reliable it seems making a bunch more power with forced induction on a high compression motor.
You won't have big torque down low like you do with a positive displacement blower which loves to pretzel rods, and you won't have insane cylinder pressure like you do with boost making almost 200 whp more.
So long as the AFRs stay sane and you aren't going wild with EGTs I don't see why this wouldn't be more reliable than a blower, which is already reasonably safe.
Also Coyote's are reasonably cheap to replace if the motor does die, so that does work in your favour.
Probably wouldn't be much different than a gen 3 setup with cams

How bad/loud is the whine? I really enjoy the sound of my exhaust and when i watch those dodge videos where the charger/challenger has a super charger, I just can't stand the whine.Your DH has better cams than the GT. There is very limited stuff out there until they unlock the computers. Then you will be able take advantage of the new cam. You want to have fun put a Whipple on it that's what I did to my DH and I love it.
Straight cut gear centrifugal?Saw some kid in a very dirty Mustang recently driving through a large strip mall with a ridiculously loud SC whine (probably coming through his radio, LOL). Don't know what it was but he apparently wanted everyone he could find to hear it. I couldn't stand to drive a car like that.
I don't hear any whine. The Whipple on the Coyote is very quiet. Not like the Hell kittys. How bad/loud is the whine? I really enjoy the sound of my exhaust and when i watch those dodge videos where the charger/challenger has a super charger, I just can't stand the whine.
