Just got my Dark Horse back from DaSilva Racing in Pickering, Ontario where they installed a Roush Phase 2 supercharger. Dyno results came in at 683 RWHP and 541 RWTQ. No other modifications were done. For those of you who may be in Southern Ontario and looking for a top notch Mustang shop, I cannot rate DaSilva Racing highly enough. The work was done exactly as promised and on time, and my car was picked up and delivered back to me in pristine condition. Looking forward to winter's end so that I can get this bad boy out on the road again. Only has 429 miles on the odometer!

I'm in Southern Ontario and had actually discussed with them about a supercharger on my 2021 GT Premium but at the time I think they said they mainly wanted to do Whipple?

What did the kit cost you, out the door?

Call them as they have a deal on that I think expires this Friday. Ask for Joe DaSilva and tell him that Andy T. sent you

I'm hesitant to get caught up in that because I have found prices change from person to person but thanks for the feedback on the shop. I avoided working with them as I had heard some negative stuff over on Mustang6G but nice to see they treated your DH right!

P.S - It's too damn cold to drive my Dark Horse out there from west of the GTA lol

Sweet looking ride! That bad boy needs to get out of the stable.

I have had a lot of work done by them on past Mustangs. Have not been to the Shop in a long time

Seems you should've gotten more horses than that. Something like 740 horses? That SC was my first choice for an SC, but it didn't come with a Ford warranty, not to forget I didn't care for the whine. If I wanted whine I'd stay home with little Wifey😇. But I really wanted this one because it stands out big and bold. I had the Whipple installed when I bought the car. I'm not sure what it would do on a dyno. After a couple thousand miles I'll dyno it.

Having had superchargers before there is usually a 14-16% loss from crankshaft to rear wheels. For 810 hp at the crank that would translate to 680-697 RWHP. I’m quite happy with 683 for an engine that has yet to be broken in.

True. Mines probably about the same. I basically got it to get away from the bad guy. Going to probably have to install a short shift kit. I go through gears like lightning. I think a 3.18 would've mellowed it out. Not available with 6 speed. Have the 3.55. Forgot about those pesky old at the crank HPs.

Same as what the base whipple kit makes...pump gas is the limiting factor on either kit

Ya, I made around 660 hp on my setup, but I'm limited to 91 octane. Have seen multiple cars in my area make around the same with their whipple kit stage 2 as well. Only way to make the numbers that shops and others have been getting is with some E blend, headers, or both. I see you're in california; i am as well, so id say around 660-680 is what you're gonna realistically see on 91 octane unless you have 93 nearby

Yep. I go between California and Texas every few months, and drive the car in Texas. We had a Rotten Robbie here that had 92 octane. Now only 91 is available. I notice the cheaper gas here gets less mileage than say Chevron. I'm going to head back to CA soon. Weather is going to get cold soon.

Cali and Texas!!! Man, what that must be like. No snow, sunshine and rainbows!!! Lucky you! I'm about to go shovel my driveway to get my winter beater to the grocery store LOL

Although, in trade, I have 94 octane available here.

I've been debating pushing a SC on this car. I know I swore up and down to my gf that I wouldn't do to this car what I did to my 21 GT Premium (had Ford install a Roush Phase 2) but I'm thinking maybe next year after I get a summer out of it this year.

Time will tell.
