I am just impressed that a sales manager lives next door to a guy who can plunk down half a million for a car and runs in circles with folks who can plunk down over a million.

Maybe I chose the wrong career.
Some dealership managers make serious coin. Or perhaps he just married well.

Years ago some bloke told me that many race cars are white because it's easy to match the paint after some fender rubbing. So maybe that was the thinking.

I guess those perforated shift paddles are to save weight?

Yeah, its the same "shift knob" that is in every other thing we sell... I was surprised (maybe I should not have been) by how much off the shelf stuff was in the interior.
I'm sure Ford was trying to keep costs down. Put too much custom stuff on the car and it might become expensive.

To us, yes, stupid (and stupid to everyone in reality) But there are those with the means to chase these kind of things just for the sake of owning them, and they do so.
I fully support the freedom of people to buy whatever stupid stuff they want. Any new car is financially not the optimum decision.

WOWIE!!! At that price, your talking 1-2% of buyers. I don't knock anyone making as much money as one possibly can in life.....

But for 520k, I'm taking that and buying a few cars. But that's just me. I'm sure when you have a garage full of what you want and unlimited finances, life is a little different.

My local dealer had one in black which I think covers up a lot of the cool details of the car. This one looks fantastic!
