Did Ford ever address the "lost cluster in custom mode" issue. I have a 400a car which does not have a way to save profiles as it it does not have the memory button on the door. When I set up a foxbody screen for a custom mode, it is not saved in the custom profile. Any info is greatly appreciated as I don't have the work around option.
1. From the My Mustang menu, press Custom Drive Mode.
2. Press the profile button to select a profile to edit. Note:Selecting a profile also sets it as the active mode.
3. Select the base drive mode you prefer.
4. Press each option and select the setting you prefer...

Then the mode button on the steering wheel selects it.

My problem is it doesn't save the selected cluster when I set one up in in a custom profile. If i select a particular gauge screen in a custom profile mode and then leave the custom mode, the selected screen is not saved. This forces me to reselect the desired screen each time.

Does the settings menu show the personal profiles? (I know no door button) If so, and you have one set up, delete it (all of them). Also try removing all of the custom drive mode profiles and only make 1.

This is a common problem where people do all those things and it still won't save.

I have got to the point of I can change whatever I want quicker than trying to save or create a profile or link something to a key… as long as the gas and brake work I’m good to go and then I’ll worry about what cluster I want to see… or display some auxiliary gauges ..

I had this issue a month ago for 2 full days.

All themes were set on track. If I change 1 drive mode theme, it will change all drive mode themes to the same.

For me it was a battery issue. The minus clamp was almost out of it's place. Then I charged the battery and the issue was gone.

Thank you for posting this. I remember when I had the same issue my battery was also low and I didn't realize it.

I had many strange bugs and they all had to do with low battery or loose battery clamp. Luckily all those weird issues can be solved by charging or getting a new battery. But I can understand that it's very scary to get those electronical bugs.

I had magneride issues twice and thought it would be an expensive fix, but again, it was the battery lol.
