This is just under 11 tablespoons of oil (160ml). That’s 25,000 miles / 11 tablespoons of oil = 2,272 miles per tablespoon. Same as your description of what it should be.
So to be clear the jar has the contents of 25 thousand miles and not 250 miles is this correct?

Correct. 25,000 miles.
Would you happen to also have strut tower brace? If so, how hard is getting access to the catch can for cleaning? I'm really debating UPR vs. J&L over this since I have a strut tower brace.

I do have a strut tower brace, I have the UPR and it can be difficult but not impossible to access. I remove the hoses, take it off the bracket, and then empty the can. Then reverse the steps. Getting the bolt with the plastic grip on it in can be hard to line up, but it hasn't failed me yet.

Thank you, that is the exact information I am seeking. Seems like that could be problematic, especially constant removal/reinstall of the hoses. I’d guess they’re not designed to be disturbed that much.

They remove and install pretty easily. It’s actually the easier part.

I have UPR on both sides. Natural aspiration so drivers' side is still empty after 5000 miles. {Pro-charger is in the plan) Passenger side I check every 1000 miles and usually empty about an inch of oil out. I do have a strut tower brace. I just pull the clip on the front hose and pull the can right out, unscrew, empty, wipe it out with a paper towel and reattach. I am curious though. Does anyone ever put the oil back into the motor between oil changes instead of disposing of it?

Why is it that a naturally aspirated engine doesn’t have any caught oil on the driver side?

It’s more difficult emptying the carbon traps than cleaning the catch can.

for the most part a yearly partial disassembly and wipe down should be sufficient (at the track mileage may vary).

realize this an old post just bored so here ya go/I wondered this as well.
The drivers side can have some oil but usually only on supercharged applications. The drivers side is the intake side so opposite the passenger side. Air being drawn into the motor vs air blowing out the motor. There still can be oil in the drivers side in high RPM tracking and or forced induction "supercharger/turbocharged". Most people do use both side when using forced induction.I have the passenger side only on my darkhorse, it's N/A motor. Haven’t even emptied mine yet but im curious to see how much if any oil is there.

I would not put the oil from the can back into the motor, it will be diluted from vapors ect and probably compromised efficiency.
