Must be a change for 2026. I have 400A (2025) & it has the pony puddle lights!
Decontenting by Ford. Somehow all the changes to equipment packages result in reduced equipment. Must be a coincidence! The worst example was deleting the B&O stereo from the 201A/401A High Package and forcing customers to pay extra for it.

In 2026 the pony puddle lights are available in the 401A and not the 400A
Ok. The way you wrote that exchange read like you were saying they were deleted for '26 401A.

Honestly, we've all said they come with the 401A package about a 100 times over at this point, and no one is disputing it. Not sure why you keep commenting on it. I feel like We're just going in circles here. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

Because someone keeps saying that it comes with the 400A package and I keep correcting them

I'm quite certain the commenting would have stopped if not for post #106. :)

My apologies for misreading his post. But the comments should have stopped well before that. 😉

I figured to not bother you folks until I closer to a purchase or an order but what the hell, I now know what I want. I got a brand new Dark Horse !!! Here it is:

S650 Mustang chasing my tail and it's driving me nuts 1787856195213-10

It'll have to do until I get the big grey thing under it sold :)

There's a 25 DH nearby with a 6-speed that I will schedule a test ride in shortly. It's not the color I want or a dealer I want to be involved with but it will give me what I need. I'll scrape them off by saying 'I need to go look at a C8' which I don't. Initially I was thinking to load a GT but believe it or not my wife is the one who convinced me to just go get the DH. You take one shot at it make it a good one :) Ideally that's a DH 700A.

In the meantime I had that Olds out today and put a few miles on it. Hardly a burden, it's turn-key loads of fun that handles like it's on rails. Different century in any case. I think that in this hobby it's best to stir the pot once in a while.

Congrats.

I thought I had replied to this thread already, but apparently not. Here are my thoughts and advice, which are worth exactly what you paid for them:

- I had a DH (not premium, not HP, but six-speed) and really liked it, sold it to order and buy the last manual M3 which is a better car in nearly every way. But I miss the DH and think about getting another one...

- I've had a GT (not premium) and GT Premium (convertible) S550 both with manuals. The DH is just better. Even if you don't track it (I did).

- The Olds looks great, may I suggest listing it for sale on BringATrailer or CarsAndBids instead of FB or CL? You expand your market from local to worldwide, and you can set a reseve if you're worried about someone stealing it. There are a lot of people on those sites who will ask stupid questions and demand more pictures and then never bid, but it's only for a week and in my experience, worth the hassle.

- Absolutely test drive everything that you can.
