I recently got caught in a snowstorm on the highway with my set of PP wheels and tires.

Brother, when that first inch accumulates, its a seriously puckering experience, hahah. You just know that at any moment a bump could hit the rear wheel, upset the rear and you're sideways.

I rarely get scared while driving, but that was a sweaty two hours drive. If the highway was busy, I wouldn't have even bothered. First time I've ever driven summer perf tires in the snow, and hopefully the last.

Didn't realize that weekend blizzard went so far west. My buds in NY were sending me videos where the snow was piling up over their cars, hahah
yeah that snowstorm started all the way out in Texas and Oklahoma on Friday. only reason i was fine with taking the Mustang out was knowing nobody was going to be on the roads. But im definitely getting the Ram fixed before something like that happens again.

Had to do the brakes on wifes Cherokee in the heated garage.

The end of our driveway is as far as it will ever go in the winter. Salt life is for surfboards not Mustangs ! :sunglasses:

Spring can't come fast enough!

Don't you know? You're not allowed to let anything other than dry asphalt touch the tires of your car.
Oh right because its made from chocolate and its going to melt in the rain/snow. My god people are funny. Its just a car, yes wonderful fast good looking but still painted metal and plastic give it a break ffs. When i see people say never seen a rain i just feel sad. Its not ford gt from 1966. But again anyone should do whatever they want with their car. Just leave others alone also

Back in the middle 80’s, ?,I had a Supra with summer tires and got caught in an ice storm on the way back from Canada. In the Catskills (Rt 17 near Liberty, NY), I had to drive for 20-30 miles on ice. The highway was littered with cars in ditches, on the shoulder, and at least 1 upside down. I did 360s three times but made it home in one piece. That night was probably the worst conditions I ever drove in and would not look forward to doing it again! Glenn

That happens when you use it year round :)
I drive mine year-round, but it doesn't leave the garage in any wet weather, voluntarily! If I am caught in the rain, I won't commit suicide! When I drove to Canada in August, my first 3 hours were in the rain! I think I have now been caught in the rain 7-8 times. Your snow stripes did look good! Glenn
