I ceramic coated my Mustang, first time ever, and love it. It's so easy to wash the car. Water comes off with minimal effort.

Actually, I'm not sure if they did or not but I haven't noticed a difference so probably not.

I've always gone DIY, waxing, polishing, buffing etc. Had PPF done on our last 4 cars too.
We got my wife's new car ceramic coated as it lives partly outside, now I'm a convert. It's guaranteed as long as we own the car, a good wash and dry off keeps it looking new.
I did the Mustang and now I have to find another hobby.

If you have not taken a look, check this stuff out. Can’t afford a normal ceramic coating. This stuff is amazing. Glass, paint, chrome. I’ve used it on my Mustang, and my wife’s Grand Cherokee. Works really well.

I just do the chemical guys ceramic wax. fraction of the cost and lasts all year. Car is basically WET at any moment. Bugs be sliding off the hood like kids at a cookout on a slipNslide.
