Center Screen won’t turn on, system update or deeper electrical issues?

My screen went dark today... the animation at start up ran and ran, then eventually a blank screen. I did the Sync reboot (>,-), and it came back. First time in 2.5 + years... hopefully not an issue!

I spoke in DEPTH with the technicians and apparently, like had already been said by some here, the last update has been extremely troubling for some vehicles. Unsure if the update bricked my screen. I have a feeling I just got a bad unit, but I’m wishing this new one is troublefree. I’m glad the reset works though! Hopefully that’s the last time!

I took my 2024 Mustang GT to the dealership on 2 different occasions for that issue and they are currently replacing the APIM. Hopefully I'll get my car back this week. 😩
UPDATE
Ford replaced the APIM. I got it back and the next day the issue returned. I'm having to take it back to ford 🥴

A little update, it's now June 24th. I picked my car up after then having it 2 weeks. Less than 24 hours after getting it back, the issue resumed. I took it back to the dealership and as of today, they've had it 3 weeks. (A total of 5 weeks). I still have a factory warranty that's taking care of the financial side of things but this is so frustrating.

have you asked the dealership about a possible screen swap? After my screen swap there’s been no issues.

You’re a lot more patient than me. I’m afraid I’d raise Hell, maybe not with the dealer, but Ford. If the third try, doesn’t correct the situation, I’d ask for another option with respect to the entire car.
