I am thinking about buying a new Dark Horse Mustang…..not a HP car. What types of discount of MSRP should I be expecting…thanks
There was one on the showroom floor in Scottsboro, AL a few days ago. You're going to have to travel to get a DH. They just aren't laying around in all dealerships. I wouldn't expect much of a discount if any unless you're one helluva negotiator.

I bought one from a dealer not far from where I live….paid invoice price maybe 3200 off sticker.

I have a deal pending at invoice which I thing is about $3600 off sticker……I have some slight reservations about the car and the fact that I am trading in a beloved 12 Boss………..one minute I want the DH, next I wanna just keep my Boss that I love. The dealer is being fair on trade in.
If ur having second thoughts and truly feel u want to keep the Boss, then keep it. Not much worst than buyers remorse and holding onto a Boss is not a bad decision......sometimes owners bond with their cars.

yes it was hard letting such a great car go……luckily I have another 12 Boss with under 2k miles….I love the Boss 302s.

Are dealers no longer marking up DH's? I remember seeing them 10K over MSRP at times
I think fresh off the transport, asking MSRP or over depending on location. After they sit for 90+ days and floorplan charges start to add up, they discount. We currently have 2 that have been here a while, and they're listed online with $3,200 discounts, selling at invoice.

Consider owning both. The Boss has so few miles on it that it almost can't be driven much or value will be hit hard. Also consider that the 400 added pounds on a dark horse will require the additional 14 HP between it and a GT with active exhaust. Best advice: sleep on it.

I really don’t care about the value of my cars….I am fortunate to be in a position where cars are just a hobby to me and hobbies cost money. I will drive my Boss as much or as little as I please with no thought as to what affect my decision has on the value of of it, either real or perceived. I will be long dead before any of the cars I own have any “value”.

You and me are in the same position. Cars are one of one of the worst monetary investments one can make. They can, however, make for a good hobby and recreation.
