Lighten up Francis.... but since you asked....
100K+, Virginia, IT Professional... What else do you need?
Forgive me for being skeptical, but the OP (a 15 year old) started the thread by saying, "That I recently picked up...." and upon reading more details about him that HE provided, it sounds like his parents are the owners of the car not him; but he is leading us to believe it is HIS car...
It just sounds a little more believable when I say that I recently bought a Mustang (because I can afford it) than hearing a 15 year old say it....
again.... just my opinion.
Correct. The car is under my dad's name and the title will be transferred to me when I'm 18. He is also contributing to the payments which is about 50/50 for the car payment. But everything else like the gas, maintenance, aftermarket parts, etc is all on me.

Congrats on the new Mustang! How lucky you are at the ripe ole age of 15 to be driving a 480HP rear wheel drive car as your first car to learn on and how irresponsible of your parents to allow you to do it.
Don't get me wrong.... I'm not trying to insult you or your parents BUT a new V8 Mustang is not something that a new driver should be learning how to drive on. Things can get real squirrelly real fast if you're not careful and being a young inexperienced driver just makes for a bad recipe for something horrible to happen. Please be careful and resist the urge to do anything stupid that could potentially get you or someone else hurt. Just my opinion...
My parents get that a lot. I have a contract with them saying if I do something so severe and reckless that it poses a threat to my safety or the safety of others. My dad will sell the car instantly. However I'm extremely blessed to have such a car and this "ripe age"

have fun with it. Just make sure you take the time to learn the car and its shortcomings before you start modifying performance aspects as those will amplify those shortcomings if you dont address them first.

Why does everybody think this is real? Might be but sure seems weird. How many rich 15 year olds join mustang forums
It's real as can be, I promise.

Wait.... you work TWO jobs?! At the age of 15? If I may ask, what two jobs are those? ....and do you work two jobs while you are in school as well? Since your parents are making the monthly payments on the car and insurance that really makes the car theirs and not yours.... they are just letting you drive it. Correct?! Whose name(s) are on the loan paperwork? I didn't know that a 15yr old could get a loan since at that age you are not allowed to work a full time job. and what lending institution would give a loan to a 15 year old, parents co-signing or not. My BS meter is starting to buzz.........
Publix is 1 of them, and at my dads company which is in the healthcare industry. I do school virtually so I can work and do school whenever works best for me. I'm also making payments on the car and insurance, but the way it works is since its under my dads name (until when I'm 18 he will transfer the title) I will send him the money I owe him for my behalf of the payments every month. So technically from a legal perspective, its my dads car and he's letting me drive it, but he bought it for me. So yes, his name is on the loan paperwork.

Well, that kind of tint is an automatic ticket here, and may even get your car towed somewhere where that dangerous addition can be removed….let’s see what we really have here:
1. 15 years old new driver with
2. Nearly 500 HP with
3. Windows he can barely see out of after dusk….

I only hope that parents can deal with the outcome here….my prayers are for your light foot on the right pedal and a real discernment on behalf of this driver…
Careful that you don't say anything that by be construed as "negative" about the 15 year old.... AZ_Ryan will get mad at you.
Just my opinion though....

Just curious...where were you able to land a job at 15....not questioning it....genuinely curious as my oldest daughter is in high school and outside of fast food places, finding an employer willing to hire someone still in high school has been challenging.....so looking for ideas....

Umm are you seriously trying to throw shade at me like I cant afford an S650?
So what I'm seeing here is that you do something to others but you don't like it when others do the same to you.

Busted.

Don’t think that I said anything really negative here……just stating the facts and praying for him and his parents that these facts turn out for the best for all of them…….I hate the saying, “it is what it is,”…….but…….

You kind of missed one thing......I own a substantially more expensive car all ready...in fact 2 of them....

If you cant figure out there is a difference between a 15 year old and someone more established in life.....lets just say you might be lacking some common sense.....

We all can question you, the same as you question him. That's the point. I don't care what you own or what you don't own.

What I did is exactly what you did to others.
You seem to like to do things to others but dislike when others do the same thing to you.

Just mind your own business instead of questioning others financial life.

Being jealous of a 15 year is a real bad look.

Some warm welcome for a new member….

We all were young once. And plenty of high school kids showed up with MUSCLE…

It took me a while to get a cool car. My first really cool car I got when I was about 21. A 72 Camaro with a 307. It was white, with black stripes and had Cragars/ white letter tires. Damn I loved that car! Had 170,000 miles on it, got it cheap but still passed the 10 foot rule and was so badass to drive. Shame it had a bad short and would stall when it rained…lol. Could never trace the bad ground.

I know who Rambo is but it's not why it's my username. My last name is Rambo and I thought Rambo5.0h sounded cool.
In that case since that’s the case….
