How long did yours was away?Today it returned on mine... for how long, I don't know.![]()
I don't know, because I didn't paid attention to it until I read this thread. Approximately, it's about a month I was having the "beep beep" and today the "duuum duuum" returned at its first start (and the restarts after it for the whole day). Now that I know about it, I will surely notice if/when it'll go away again. How long did yours was away?
Quoting myself.. no way. The "beep beep" returned today, even before refueling, so it lasted one day and half this time.I've noticed something, when it reprised I had less than 80Km of fuel, it's when the dashboard will start to warn you about the "low" fuel. It could be that the "dum dum dum" kicks in because of that, overriding the "beep beep". I will test later today filling the tank.

I'd love to find out.Maybe yes.. but I can't find a reason of why it returns and then it goes away again.. also I'm not sure that everyone that is experiencing this "bug" has changed anything with ForScan.
I hsve same problem and no, I have made no change recently in Forscan. Happened after recent software update, supposedly for PCM.also I'm not sure that everyone that is experiencing this "bug" has changed anything with ForScan.
I did my update on August 29th with no issue. The heartbeat just stopped yesterday.I hsve same problem and no, I have made no change recently in Forscan. Happened after recent software update, supposedly for PCM.
That means my car never has good battery? Never had any issues with the battery but still no heartbeat sound.OKAY, I think I may have figured it out..
If your car goes into battery save mode, it will not play the Hoof steps noise upon startup. It must shut down the systems it requires (stereo) in order to make the sound. Which makes sense to me. It will not return until the battery reaches a normal operating level.
Just another sign that that the batteries are not sufficiently sized for these high-tech cars. I hope it does not lead to future electrical failures, as BCM's and ECM's hate voltage irregularities. Then add people jump starting and boost charging to make it worse.
imo.
Ya , but you do not have a USA version , do you ?That means my car never has good battery? Never had any issues with the battery but still no heartbeat sound.
