I just had my recall done yesterday. And yes, you can't see the sealant once the covers go back on. I looked at it at the dealer, and again once I got it back home. I see nothing to complain about.

Maybe they will give us all new cars.
Hold your breath.

Good to know when I take mine in next month. The service manager really doesn't want to do it. He has the "if it ain't broke, don't fix" it mindset. We just might not fix it either.

Brought it today for the recall. Was informed that "At this time the recall has been paused as the solution is not working."
Sounds like another inept dealer that doesn't know what's going on.

These "fix" photos remind me of this...

One thing I noticed yesterday, was the loudness level of entry chime as well as the chime itself has changed. I don't think the BCM recall included a firmware update?

I've mentioned this in a few threads now. I'm pretty sure the switch from heartbeat to chime is a low battery indicator.

Does anybody know if we get loaners if the car needs to be there overnight?

Called my dealer last week 10/21. They said the recall is on hold and call back nov 1. WTH.
also that is one highly glob of sealant. I better order a bottle or two of molten magenta metallic tri-coat touch up paint. Need one for the paint chip I got Sep 4. 🤬
