Did anyone get a pic of their car being built?

I did this for my 2015 F150. I caught it coming out of the paint shop. At DTP, they split the cab from the bed right there, and they go two different ways. I followed the cab all the way through trim, chassis, and final. During that time, the bed met back up with the cab. I was able to get about three dozen pictures and a half dozen videos. It was pretty cool.

Back in the day when you had to be a salaried employee to get A plan, I can't remember for sure either pay grade 7 or 8, you could walk your car down the line as it was being built.

I don't recall a time when salaried employees (any pay grade) were eligible for A-Plan but hourly employees were not. Unless you're referring to before the mid-1990's.

You do have to be a certain pay grade to get a company car, but that's different.

FYI: You still have to be an employee to be eligible for A-Plan. Retirees are eligible for Z-Plan.

LOL. If you happen to visit one of the more active F150 forums, you'll see a very long thread that included people giving me their VINs and blend numbers and me telling them exactly where their trucks were in the process. I did that for quite a while, but after I got rid of the truck and went to an F350 SD, I stopped frequenting those forums.

I did. See attached. While a '22, I'm guessing the format for the '24 is not much different.

I asked them to gather anything the vehicle arrived with (documents, seat bags, etc.) and throw it in the trunk.

What you can still do is get a Marti Report. The reports are often not available for at least a few years after production. You could get a detailed report and pair it with the Window Sticker. I'll be getting a report as soon as the data is made available. Their web site states up to MY 2020 is available now.

Thanks. I'll use that as a fall back. I am also hoping Ford will release a Certificate of Authenticity, like they did with my '09 Bullitt.

Try the late 60s-mid 70s. It was a different world then. Mustangs were assembled in B-building in the Rouge.
