So Ford OEM parts has 2 different backup lamps. From the description they look exactly the same, but there should be a difference somewhere.

One says level 2 and the other says level 3
I have no idea what they mean and even dealerships can't tell me the difference.

Can it be that A is for USA Mustangs and B is for European?

When I Google the B part, it also shows me that Mach-E is using the exact same part number. I know some parts are shared between different models.

If it's the same part then I'm even more confused. I can't find any other part number for the back up lampa while the EU lamps are different and have a red fog light in the middle.

Can you help me find the part number of that one?

Maybe one of our EU members could help with this.

Very weird.

This is the part with the fog light and it is listed with the same part number, with the B.

It also says that this unit is for the Mustang and the Mustang Mach-E.

After looking at the pictures of the Mach-E it is highly likely that they share the same reverse lamp unit.

It’s dependent on your VIN and your specific packages. I have level 3 I believe in my car. I can look it up with VIN lookup I have over at my job, full access to OEM ford systems.

I have a US model but I'm searching for the EU part, because that's the part I need to put in my car to make the rear fog light work.

Headsup for the people that only read the forum to find information.

I just called the Ford dealership in Europe for the part number of the reverse lamp with fog light.

The European part number is 2505976 and this part is shared between the Mustang and the Mustang Mach-E.

Just to be sure I get the right part, I'm going to order it from Europe instead of America, because there is a chance that if I order this in America I get the one without the fog light.

Do not want to burst your bubble but have you checked to see if your harness has the pin necessary to activate the fog light? Also don’t you need a way to turn it on/off as it is a separate light?

It is definitely not plug and play.

But this is the only way to go to have a rear fog light to work. So yes, the unit needs to be wired to make it work.
