That’s a new for me. Folks have been registering US spec cars overseas for years. If that is the case then the rear fog light is the least of your issues.
Ofcourse they are registering US spec cars for years in Europe. It is not impossible to register the car.

Just change the lights following the European law, that's it.

😂

Today I did some more research and I found the complete answer.

LJ8Z-15500-A
is for the US and Canadian Ford Mustangs And does not have the rear fog lights.

LJ8Z-15500-B
Is for the Mustang Mach-E vehicles and regular Mustangs for overseas (Europe, UK, Australia etc.) with rear fog light.

It seems like the Mustang Mach-E back up lamp is used for the newer overseas Mustangs.

I now finally know for sure that I can order the right part.

Just to be sure I get the right part, I'm going to order it from Europe instead of America, because there is a chance that if I order this in America I get the one without the fog light.
You need that part number:

Do you already know, how to code things?
Just wiring is not enough!

You should also get the light switch with the button for the rear fog light.

PS: I'm not sure, if piecing this together in different threads is a smart way... 😜

Thanks, that's exactly what I found yesterday. Look at 1 comment before yours.

It's a part shared between the overseas Mustangs and the Mustang Mach-E.

Yeah it needs coding, but there is also another way to get it to work. Many homologation shops in Europe make their own light switch and wires to have it done.
I just wanted the OEM look of the fog light.

This is the part number of the light switch that I also going to order if I can get the coding done.

I have to do this conversion as well.

Anybody already did it and can tell me step by step what to do?

All this talk about rear fog lamps brings back memories of 1952. Most posters here were born way after that date, but a few of us (even yanks!) remember it.
