I did not get that owners manual, I was only given a supplemental Manual.

I got the information online but it was defective in that there are only 2 usb connections at the bottom of the dash in the center and they are charge only connections.

The online information does not work. there are only 2 USB ports and they can not be changed to support music files.

I followed the instructions and it just does not work.

They definitely are not charge only I use my phone over USB on them I don't use wireless

I have a USB-A stick there with couple of thousand 320 kbit/s mp3s plus many .pls playlist files and everything works just fine.
As someone mentioned above, probably wrong file format.
Convert to highest quality mp3 and you can listen to the crappy B&O system.
Speakers can sound great with a different DSP/Amplifier though.

I judge how good the sound system is using Steely Dan's Aja. With all the nuances in the movements it shows how nimble the sound system is. How clear the police whistle sounds about 3/4 the way through defines how good the system is. Once that is known, Ted Nugent, Metallica etc are also enjoyed.

Mine is a September 2024 build
And it is a piece of shit since there is no way to get the USB drive to play.
MP3 is not good enough since the Bullitt can play Flac24 and DSD files without any issues.
Ford you have blown it thinking adding Alexa and pay for play music was the answer.
I am almost thinking of dumping the car. When I go on long drives, I like to hear the music I am accustomed to hearing. I guess this will be a garage queen.

It can be as simple as the usb drive itself...
What is the data format (fat32, exfat, ntfs?) and size of drive you are using?
