The automatic is now built and on the train headed to CA. It was time to drive over to the dealership today to discuss a 6-speed order if I didn’t like the auto.

I got a quote from (dealer well known here..) to show the sales manager how well I can do on a 2026 to have a little leverage.

Dealer response was very respectable. Sales manager says if I don’t like the automatic they will order me a 2026 6-speed discounted a similar % to the pricing I was quoted back in May.

It should arrive in about 10 days. I’ll get a call and I’ll take this for a ride out to the sonoma coastal highway and swing back through some nice twisties

I’ll decide when I return from the test drive if I’ll keep the auto or order a 2026.

Why not find a manual at a dealer and do a test drive to see what you really prefer? Everyone is different , an automatic is a lot easier to cruise around in. I ordered the manual, I enjoy driving it, but everyone has their favorite!

I was a hard core, 6 speed guy but the car I found on the lot had an automatic. My previous two mustang GT's were 6 speeds.

It took a while but I am really starting to enjoy the auto. Once it learns how you drive and once you learn how it going to shift it is acually fun.

I think here in Europe we are getting sick and tired of manuals and all the work we have to do with them. Auto is new trend in Europe for past 20 years more and more popular…

Just returned from my maiden voyage with my Roush blown/Kooks exhaust/ MGW short throw shifted/drag radial 6 speed car.

There ain’t a man alive that wouldn’t enjoy this machine, in this configuration.

And this is from a former Trinity GT500 owner (and multiple blown A10’s).

Boost is a hell of a drug.
