Awww man that really sucks, still waiting to hear if mine will get affected as well. I might just be out of the recall window by a week. Does your VIN show a recall notice on the website?
Just read the rest of the post and saw your vin did show up. Side note who was going to do your detailing, ppf etc as I don’t have a go to guy in this space.

Hey Deano, How did you manage to get the Black Pack with that late a build date?
When did you order yours?
Hi Brumby,

I ordered on 21/4/23, I was sweating on getting the Black Pack once I found out they were dropping it and my segmentation date had been pushing out from June->July->Aug->Sep.

Got lucky suppose. I think its one of the last builds with this option coming our way.

Considering asking my dealer to do a Vista search for how many Atlas Blue GT's with Black pack are on the system, would be good to know

Which services were you looking at getting from Mad Inc, is the xpel fusion ceramic costing or the Gyeon coating the way to go you reckon? Might be a Q for db5 😁

Yeah I cant see them holding ALL vehicles. If you punch your VIN into that tool and it doesn't show the recall, you should be good to get your car.

I've just spoken to my dealer again and he has confirmed the same now. They cant give me the car and the current ETA on the fix is early next year. It sucks, but it is what it is.
For now they will be putting the car in a corner at the back of their showroom and putting stanchion posts and rope around it to prevent people from getting in the car or toughing it. It does mean they will need to wash the car as opposed to my previous instructions which was to leave it alone and let my detailing company give it its first wash when they put PPF on it. Its a halo car so they have no issues keeping it in the showroom. In fact I think this worked out really well for them .
You're lucky there! My dealer wanted to deliver the vehicle the day before we went on a 9-week overseas trip. This was not our prior agreement (no delivery less than 1 week before departure). Then they said it would remain on the lot in the weather while we are away. Also not our prior agreement (it would be stored in a warehouse). The PPF detailing company (same as yours) stepped up and parked the vehicle inside their premises, AFTER the dealer forced me to pay the car in full as they otherwise would not release it. I think ours is not caught up in the recall (based on production date & VIN appears unaffected at this stage), but if it is I will have paid for a vehicle 6 months or so before its delivery. What a mess!

Has anyone not affected by the recall received a delay notice or change of ETA on Vista?

I posted in another thread that my ETA has blown out by 5 weeks and I can't help but think they're holding all deliveries back even though my car isn't affected by the recall.

Although I don't seem to be affected, as my VIN doesn't show up in the recall checker, and mine is in limboland (last known whereabouts Baltimore port in early September), my dealer did tell me that what you say above is correct. All deliveries have been halted due to the recall. :(

My ETA was originally 15/1/25
My Gate Seg was 23 Sept 2024 (already built).
The ETA was pushed out to 14/2/25 and recently to 7/3/25 (3 weeks blow out)
I asked the reason why and the dealer said it was due to ships having difficulty in navigating the Baltimore bridge that had collapsed.
I told him I that that was BS and most likely as a result of not releasing any more built cars on ships and instead dealing with the recall of the existing cars.
I didn't receive any response.
I raised concerns with my car probably sitting in the open on the docs for some 6 months!
I definitely believe the delays are being caused by this recall.

My regular contact is on leave so I went straight to the Sales Mgr and asked if he's been instructed to hold deliveries even those already on ships due to the recall and all he said was we're still getting cars, i.e, didn't answer the question.

It’s all smoke and mirrors when it comes to dealing with car dealers. I’ll just have to bite my lip and wait for my car - whenever it arrives as I really just want it.

Some more detailed information about the issue and timeline can be read here:

Definitely sounds like a software fix. I just wish we knew when they'll have it ready. Not this generic Q1 2025 non-sense.
It appears they have known of this recall event back in mid October, notifying the NHTSA on the 25th Oct. Why on earth would it take this long to sort this out?
