Saw this yesterday on Facebook.(Bueller) . . . . anyone, anyone?
I believe it's about 8k for the S650. Prochargers prices for painting their products black is ridiculous. I believe it about 295 for a black centrifuge mount. And 325 for the centrifuge. ESS black finish is cheaper.I've had a Procharger kit on my 2018 for 3.5 years now and would buy one again in a heartbeat . . . . if it didn't cost $10,000.00, plus install, plus remote tuning.
ESS kits are in the mid 5K to low 6K range for the S550, plus install, plus remote tuning as well.
Price for the ESS will probably be higher for the S650, but I doubt it will jump to 10K.
As long as the SCs intake is tapped into the stock air box and not drawing hot air from the engine compartment.Daryl (Wengerd) and I emailed a few days ago and he confirmed he is testing the new ESS/S650 kit.
I had no ideal my guess would be right on the 2Y into 1 inlet, but there it is.
Looks like the radiator coolant reservoir has been relocated as well.
The ESS I seen a photo of had the inlet open in the engine compartment. Maybe it was a photo before the installation was completed. The Prochargers inlet was the stock box. What people like to call the nostril.Intake location will most likely be just like the S550, drawing inlet air from the inner fender well.
IAT's on my 2018 set up like this are 3 - 5 degrees above ambient all the time.
Stock inlet system on the 650 runs much hotter.
I was on the .com earlier. Makes no reference to post 2023 Mustang. Plus the company is in Norway.723 whp on pump 93 with a completely stock S650. Just the addition of the ESS kit.
Note the huge increase in torque down low, from around 150 ft. lbs. under 3K to over 300 ft. lbs. under 3K, with the ESS kit. That's some serious kick in the pants in the lower range.
723 whp is eclipsing a 6th Gen, stock GT500.
Definitely not a "huge increase in torque" like a Whipple car would be. How about just say increase?723 whp on pump 93 with a completely stock S650. Just the addition of the ESS kit.

I'm going Procharger HO system. I don't need to fly my GT to the moon. I just need an edge.He noted that they are responding better to boost than S550 ess kits … interesting,
I’m not sure the savings could ever compare to the whipple stage 2 for 10K, you’re gonna be in for ESS kit?? 6-7K maybe more, plus injectors/fueling easy 1K plus and then tuning device and custom tune… another grand or 2… to underperform a stage 2 and a 3.5 pulley… but people want different options… so GOBBLESS
