I did all my research and decided on a Skar loaded 12" subwoofer, a Kicker Key 500.1 Amp.

2025 GT Premium NO B&O, just the 9 speaker system.

I also killed the noise crap using forscan (see photo, make both X's 0 (Zero)).

No need for a LOC because the 500.1 does that too. I had it installed, they got signal off the 9 speaker amp, also in the trunk. I just ran kicker tuning, sounds amazing.

Noise crap = ESE, ANC

LOC = Line Out Converter

That looks great! This is exactly what I would like to do. Any chance you have details for the wiring coming from the stock amp to the Kicker amp? I musta have missed those details somewhere as I haven’t seen that mentioned in other threads/research I’ve done…I probably just missed it.

Your setup looks clean!

+1 for "LOC and noise crap"
an LOC is a Line Output converter. Typically you cant take high level (amplified) speaker outputs in to an amplifier. For that you would need a LOC. But the Kicker amp I used (Key500.1) actually has that function as well as adaptive audio correction (To account for ford's Digital signal processor cutting the bass at higher volumes to protect the crappy paper speakers in their cars), which is all in the amp.

as far as the noise crap, Ford does either or both of two types of audio enhancement. One is listening to the cabin from its mic's and using that to adjust the sound, as well as piping fake engine noise in to the cabin through the speakers. you need to turn either off before you set the amp up. Thats done with Forscan and is a conversation for another thread.
