Installed a Steeda H Pipe on my car and now the drivers side AC won’t blow cold air. The fan puts out a lot of air, but it’s not cold. The passenger side puts out cold air, but I feel like it’s not as cold as it was originally.

I can’t imagine that changing the exhaust would cause this issue. I don’t have any codes. Going to the dealer on Monday.

Sounds like a blend door problem if you ask me

It could be a faulty temp sensor tricking the dual zone system. However, since you installed the new pipe, do you think there is any chance it is leaking and at the same time the leaked hot gas is hitting any AC pipe?

First time I've seen Schrader valves on these cars, but we've replaced the number of compressors. Your symptom is indicative of low refrigerant for whatever reason. Hopefully it is Schrader valves, the compressors and expansion valves needed when they are replaced or back order items right now.

Well aren’t you a bundle of hope. lol. Fortunately it’s getting to be fall and I can let the windows down. They are coming to pick up the car tomorrow. I’ll be working all week anyway, so they can have it for a while.

I have info, I disseminate it. I tell customers that they may not like what I'm telling them, but they can count on it being the truth. Hopefully its Schraders.
Either way, you are an informed car owner when you arrive.
My ex wife could verify that you ain't the first one to call me a wet blanket!

So the dealer says there was only 1 ounce of Freon in my system. He recharged it and is letting it sit overnight to see if it leaks again. Doesn’t want to replace parts until he can find the faulty one, which I get. However, I bought my car in December and it took this long to discover. I guess I’ll see what it’s like next spring.

Being as the platform is very similar to the S550, I've seen the low side leak more often than anything else. I think the heat from the exhaust cooks the seals on the valves and eventually just leaks (our 100*F+ weather doesn't help either).
