  2. Auto Insurance?

Insurance is nuts across the board - State Farm bumped mine up to $950/6 months ($100k/$300k liability $500 deductible) with my '23 GT and further $50 when I moved into my own space. Been with them since I started driving 11 years ago. USAA is roughly the same or more. Only one accident ~10...
  3. Collision repairs

Yikes that alignment is way off! With the excessive negative camber on the left front, you'll have a slight pull there to the left, compounded by the lack of camber on the right rear. No way 4 new tires would fix that alone. The rear camber is adjustable, but the front isn't without camber...
  4. Software Update Mechanism?

I'd love an explanation! Always curious about the deeper workings of software/networking/etc. I don't have that much hands-on with Sync 4 (I don't roam through everyone's center screen stuff unless I have to - which is rare since Sync 4 is pretty robust), so that's good that you can still use...
  5. Software Update Mechanism?

OTA updates don't require a personal subscription to a cellular company - if the setting is enabled Ford will push out updates as needed/requested and will be downloaded via cellular network either as you drive or when you shut your car off/at a scheduled time (depending on what module(s) are to...
  6. Dark Horse WRECKED in transit!!!!

If it was actual transit damage caused by the shipping companies it'll be marked as a warranty repair and paid for by said shipping company and to my knowledge will be marked in OASIS warranty history (although description of repairs may vary shop-to-shop) - we used to have a huge issue with...
  7. Tons of new 2024 Mustang exhaust kits released by Ford Performance and Borla

Makes me wonder if at least the mufflers would fit the S550? Sucks FP didn't release any AE upgrades. Looks like they're really supporting mods (to an extent) now though.
  8. Ford dealer/warranty work and oil changes

Didn't even know you could do that. Dope. Yes, Ford is adamant about oil change records (or other services) when it comes to a failure requiring a cost-cap. As long as you have some form of proof you or someone else (trustworthy/certified) did it per manufacturer service intervals, you should...
  9. 2024 pricing

Kinda expected it, but also slightly shocked too. Took a gamble after being dumb with money and went for a '23 GT or '24 pricing. '23 showed up long before '24 pricing - and a '24 with similar options would've been ~$3k more. And at this rate, I wonder if 10+ year finance plans home loans may...
  10. Factory Vinyl Wrap Service Launching for 2024 Mustang

Interesting idea... While I don't know what the warranties are on other wraps or PPF, I'd imagine the only good part is being a factory application it would be covered under the 3/36 warranty. Depending on when on the assembly line the wrap/PPF is applied, it may be cheaper (labor to de-trim...
  11. What is this part???

Hello fellow Tucsonian :) Looks like diff bushing reinforcement and/or NVH damper. Workshop manual yields nothing on it, but the bolts that hold the diff housing run through it. Haven't seen them on S550's, so must be an S650 "upgrade."
  12. 2025 Color options

Ended up going with my '23 since Eruption Green wasn't going to be continued onto the S650 and I absolutely love the color (would've ordered an S650 if the prices were out around March). Hopefully they bring in some special colors or more outland-ish colors (Eruption Green, Orange Fury, Cyber...
  13. 1/2" Wheel Spacers on 2024 GT - installed pictures

I though those wheels were originally going to look terrible after seeing them in black for the past 8 years...they actually look good with that gunmetal like accent. Looks good!
  14. To the Road Course (Buttonwillow track) with the 2024 Mustang GT - Overheating and Clutch Issues Aplenty!

One point that may be in Ford's favor - how many miles are already on the car? Freshly built engines are tighter in tolerance and thus get a little warmer than one that has been broken in or has a lot of miles on it. I haven't built a modern engine (and I know modern cars have better machine...
  15. 93-Oct Mayne's Grabber Blue GT is home! Photos!

Can't tell which is better on the S650 - Grabber Blue, Atlas Blue, or Vapor Blue. Love the black and blue contrasts and the photos are *chefs kiss*. Looks great!
  16. First 2024s arriving at dealers in AZ

I wonder how many are at the Mesa yard. Supposedly we have some EB and a Dark Horse on the way down here to Tucson...we'll probably will be one of the last dealers to get them here in AZ lol.
  17. 2024 Mustang S650 Active Exhaust Option (EXPLAINED + REVS)

Got to listen to one recently, the stock option isn't terrible and sounds good. I'd probably put it on par with the stock S550 quad tip, rowdy but not too rowdy.
  18. Leaked! Mustang GTD (Mid-Engine?) Supercar Special Project - Debuts @ Monterey Car Week on 8/17!

I don't know if anyone else remembers, but there was a Fordauthority article roughly a year or so 2 years ago I think that found a GT test mule with some odd exhaust sticking out the back (like the test pipes we saw on Roush's S550's late last year). Supposedly had a V8 sound to it and engine...
  19. Video: Putting the 2024 RTR Mustang Spec 2 To The Test! (Steeda)

So I actually got to see (and sit in) this specific car and it's just a PP GT and a pre-production model at that (front bumper doesn't fit 100% (RTR's fault), other panel gap issues). RTR promo guy stopped by our dealer as we're starting (and apparently really growing if RTR took the time to...
  20. This is how buttons work..

Coworker ordered and bought a brand new hybrid ST-Line, got try out these "buttons"....and I really agree. They feel cheap and not well thought out IMO. Pretty sure they're just capacitive "buttons" that only activate when you push the main button in. Not an absolute deal breaker for me if I...
