I'm pretty sure it does since you had to win a lottery just to have the opportunity to buy one, with the low numbers of available. Also I saved and printed off the email saying I had been selected and the ford page's that had the promotion on it to add the rarity of it.

As far as the red caps, the youtuber Ben Hardy just reviewed a 60th anniversary mustang, first one I saw with the caps on a dealer lot so apparently they are out there.

It's been such a long wait I took matters into my own hands

I was offered $75k for mine as I was picking it up and when I looked online to try to find one there was only one at a dealership 200 miles from me and they were asking $78k for it, it sold in less than 2 weeks. I say let the haters hate. I went to shelbyfest in Jefferson city more people clustered around my mustang then any other mustang there, everyone loved it!

Has anyone gotten your red center cap's yet?
I know they are out there ,seen some on a mustang gt 60th anniversary at a dealership in springfield mo, even checked with the parts guy and he couldn't find them in the ford catalog by Vin even.

I have a case number also. Maybe I need to chill, but it's pissing me off that I hear about those just being delivered and some of those seen on showroom floors have the red caps.

When I ordered mine they did not have the disclaimer that the caps were not available so why are they suppling the newer orders before fulfilling the first orders - you know basically they should be suppling them in order of the build number.
