Just kinda sounding off! It seems that Ford may have failed with their special selection process to get the limited edition Brittany Blue, I'm confounded by how many of them are listed for sale on dealership pages,
Just this morning looking through cars.com
there are 15 of them listed!
I don't understand people who took the time to go through the whole process and wind up walking away, IMO it really cheapens the whole process, I for one was ecstatic when I received the email to purchase one, I wonder how many people who would have followed all the way through with the purchase got passed over??
I just know that I personally will enjoy every single mile I put on mine!

That's not the point I was making, everyone knew the color option they were signing up for! A few cases of financing issues I could understand, but as it stands your looking at almost 25% of them are not being purchased

I, too, was ecstatic that I was chosen for the Brittany Blue. I was born close to the release in 64 1/2. If I had not been chosen for the Brittany Blue, I would not own a Mustang at this moment. I will enjoy it and take care of it. All the naysayers saying it won’t be worth anything sounds like sour grapes they weren’t chosen. Everyone has their opinion and likes and dislikes. There isn’t a need to bash us people who purchased one. We could say the same about the Mustang you chose to purchase. We all have one thing in common, We are Mustang enthusiasts and should lift each of us up and welcome them to the MUSTANG family.

My recently purchased DH had only arrived at the dealership a few days earlier yet it was proudly sitting on the showroom sporting a green window sticker. And oh yeah, three grand ADM. Hmmm, wonder what may have happened there?

So that just strengthens my point, the whole process has been cheapened by unscrupulous players!

Ford may have used this as an opportunity for an extra press release or two but I’m afraid they didn’t see it as a big enough deal to require much enforcement activity like the Ford GT and Mustang GTD. I‘m glad you and others are enjoying them as intended but you’re not gonna see 12 mile examples at Barrett-Jackson 20 years hence.

True, but you might find some 10k or 20k examples
