Yup I agree with you, I guess some people are just unhappy and it makes them feel better to lash out, and yes that's the goal I want to address the suspension first then focus on throwing some power at it, I love that these cars can pick up so much power that easily.

This video is retarded. Of course wider rims and bigger tires are more expensive. Of course thicker sway bars and bigger brakes are more expensive. Of course better aero bits are more expensive. Of course the mass of all that better hardware is going to weigh a little more.

The dark horse will destroy a base GT in performance because of all that added grip and down force. They aren't even in the same conversation on a track.

The first mod you should do to a GT is wider rims and bigger rubber. It will help both 1/4 mile and lap times. The car is way under tired unless you got the performance pack.

If someone gave you the option of a choice between a free ecoboost, GT, or dark horse 100 out of 100 people are taking the dark horse.

Now is a dark horse worth 40k over an ecoboost or 20k over a base GT? It must be because they're selling. It's just a very limited supply of people who can afford a 70k mustang and would choose one over the competition.

The base GT is a steal $/hp, that's obvious. The Dark Horse is in more crowded performance territory where someone is going to really have to love the mustang body style to purchase it.

To me the argument isn't even dark horse vs GT since they aren't really in the same ball park. It's dark horse vs C8 or BMW or Cayman.

To me that's where the dark horse falls down. If I was spending 70k on a car it wouldn't be a Ford. But for 40k no one else can compete.

I agree with you for 70k I'm going BMW but at 40k the Mustang GT is the clear winner which is why I and many more people chose the GT, especially when you look at the cost to build and make that 40k base GT into a car that will keep up with and even surpass cars that cost $200,000+ more money.

I think that a more accurate price comparison of a Base GT against a Dark Horse be a Base GT with the high-end interior (301A), performance package, active exhaust, plus the cost of parts and labor to install the bigger oil cooler, transmission cooler, differential cooler and any other mechanical upgrades that the DH has. These would certainly narrow the price gap. I regret I do not have any information beyond what is on the Ford "Build" website to run such a full analysis.

See, right there, you just lose credibility. If you said ‘Vette, Camaro, AMG, Porsche etc. fine. Hellcat? sure. But if there is one group of people on this planet entirely too impressed with their own abilities, it’s the bmw engineering team.

I’ve rented 2 that were trouble free, and 2 more that were not trouble free. One abs and brake failure, another had an unexplained fuel pump shut off. The latter was a replacement for the first one where the brakes went out. That was enough for me.

Can I really shade the entire brand for 2 failures, one of which with potentially fatal consequences? Yes. Yes I can.

Lol my problem is I've already had like 5 different Camaro's and want to try something new, and as far as the Corvette's I'm 6'6" 255ibs so I don't fit comfortably in Vette's, and AMG and Porsche are currently out of my price comfort range, so BMW is the only logical choice for me after Ford, but yeah I agree with you on them feeling themselves too much.

I haven't watched the video as I don't need justification as to why I purchased a Dark Horse over a GT (which my previous Mustang was). I wanted it, I can afford it, so I did it. End of list.

I do enjoy a good channel though; Jacob, Joel, Tyler, Derek, hell even Brandon if you guys are reading this (and I know at least 2 of you are on here) keep doin' your stuff.
