Well, he did say 'My' dealer, but then followed with 'lets'; suggesting, at least to me, that someone other than his self was allowing the watching. Sooooo, I'm sticking with Ins!

Dealership is telling me they have no clue when the sealant is going to come in and they have no ETA. I just want my freaking car man this is so frustrating. It’s already been over a 1.5 months and counting now

I spoke to my dealer and Ford UK this week, both said it’s still Q1 2026…

Didn't they insist on getting the car asap?
Mine is almost never standing in the open and I have not seen a single drop of water inside, so rather want to bring the car in later than earlier, hoping there'll be no more shortage of the stupid sealant.

Ive just spoken with Ford UK and they have informed me that the fix is available and being rolled out without issue.

Just got my recall done today, nothing outstanding at first glance when you open the trunk, the cowl cover the repair. I haven’t removed it yet to see the sealant.

Well I washed Honey Blue today and at one point I wedged the hose into the left and right sides of the cowl for ~15 minutes each. Not a drop of water inside. I DID have my windshield replaced a few months ago so that may be the reason

Has anyone actually found water/moisture behind the kick panels on the right or left side?

Well spoke to Ford UK and the fix is available in the UK, it was pushed to dealers on 30th of September. They also called my dealer themselves whilst I held, and its being booked in to be completed, hopefully I can then take delivery in a week or so.

Dropped off this morning, got a nice loaner in the meantime. Was told they’ll check the bcm first and only seal if it’s leaking plus order a new one if it’s corroded.

this is exactly what they did with mine last Friday.
Inspected and said that it was good. Nothing further required.
I was in and out in just over an hour.
