It has the silver painted Mustang Brembos.
is there an aftermarket active exhaust that will integrate with the cars drive modes?
Believe me. You think Ford is socking it to you? I hear it's another $4,000 for a conversion. Adjustable axle backs can be $2,600.

From someone with a base non-active exhaust (which I modified with a Roush axle-back), I highly recommend the factory active exhaust option.

OEM active exhaust is like $1500? A good quality aftermarket exhaust system is say ~$1000 just for the parts, without install.

Aftermarket exhausts won't help resale, whereas factory options can improve resale value. The OEM option also minimizes chances of getting in trouble with the law for 'modified exhaust' violations.

Neither one. The 14K mile car has had the shit driven out of it, fair to assume that, both cars are priced too high and "certified pre-owned" doesn't mean anything but what the dealer wants it to mean I don't care what anybody says. If I were spending that much money, I would buy a new one after I put on my negotiating hat. They dam sure came off the price on my car besides the Ford employee discount I got. Are they still offering the employee discount.....of course they are because cars aren't selling.

The key word is negotiate and get what you really want with a real warranty. Don't let other people put you in a box. My 3 cents.
Well put - was thinking the same thing about the auto with 14k - probably driven hard

For the record, Blue Certified is literally an extension of the factory warranty. And its good at any North American Ford dealer. If thats not "a real warranty" I don't know what is lol. Sometimes the folks here try a little too hard to push their biased narratives. 😉

That said I do think you could find a lower mileage car with the options you want if you keep looking. Don't compromise on the must haves. It's a buyers market for Mustangs right now. New or used. Good luck! 👍🏻

On the 300A you can get Brembos, only red. Then they force you to purchase the Nite Pony package for about $1700. A couple thousand+ you can get the PP, and forget the money wasted just to get Brembos. And unless one is racing most of the stuff is not needed.
Having seen the price of Brembos on other makes, $2000+ is a bargain. At least it is here.
Personally speaking, performance brakes are a must if you drive "enthusiastically".

What I'm saying is in order to get Brembos on the base model you have to spend 1700 for the Nite Pony on top of I believe it's 1900 just for the Brembos so it's nearly 4000 all together.

OK then, a bit much. What's a GT PP over the base car?

Certified pre-owned is my favorite way to buy a car... but I expect to get about a 25% discount (or more)... let someone else eat the depreciation. However, for a performance car that may not be ideal. A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away, I was shopping for a used Camaro. I spent over a month of weekends test driving, and they all felt like they were driven hard and put away wet. At one dealer, they had a new one in a color I liked, and it was November and new models coming soon, so I managed to make a deal and get a new one for just slightly more than a used one.

Compare the sticker price to the used price on the ones you are looking at, if the discount isn't much, a new one may be a better bet, and more choices. There are deals to be had on Mustangs on the lot... new model year coming soon and sales numbers are low, so you may be able to swing a stellar deal on a new one... never hurts to try

$56?? American on top of any GT your heart desires. And it comes with lots of performance stuff. Even a pretty little tow hook worth about $200 that you most likely will never use. I had all the items written down but threw them out. I've already moved on from Mustangs. But my Husband still has one, which I just have him the other day. You could say I got pulled over three days in a row on my way to go On-Duty at the Department I work. Wasn't going fast either. Cop seen I was in uniform and basically said, Oh, have a nice and safe day. Then got back into his Explorer. Mustang drivers do have horrible reputations here.

Well Cucuru, now that you don't have a Mustang (that was incredibly fast btw), maybe you can stop derailing these threads with your nonsensical posts. 🤞🏻👋🏻

It’s tough to know but you are probably right, follow your gut. I have a garage queen and in reality will probably have 10k in 4 years.
As for the options, I love Magneride. I test drove a convertible GT and a PP GT and found the magneride worth it all the way. However the active exhaust is great when cruising-it us down right quiet when the wife and I just cruise around.

OP....what I learned from the other thread is the real questions you should be asking yourself in this thread are....

How many guns do you own?
How many Tesla gangs do you plan on fighting off?
Do you care about your family?

PS I would take the car with active exhaust and manual transmission - you can add wheels suspension exc.....
