When I downloaded the as built file it showed ANC and ESE to be inactive from the factory. My car is a base GT with only automatic and 3.55 rear options.
Think my window sticker says it has ESE, too.
Oh sorry if it was confusing. I might put headers on it later but that'll be a few years off, most likely after the warranty runs out. At which point I'll also be looking at a turbo or supercharger setup.
Was hoping to get opinions of people with experience with either of these brand systems on S550s or S650s. I would like to hear the exhaust more in the cabin from the driver's seat. From the passenger seat the stock exhaust sounds ok already but it's barely audible most of the time on the...
The concern is the fluid flow within the transmission in neutral. Is it going where it's needed? Hopefully, someone knowledgeable about the subject can interject.
I've never been into transmissions but I'd heard that atf wouldn't be running through the transmission in neutral like it does in drive and would kill a transmission. That was about TH350s and TH400s, though.
My advice is wait.
$300/mo on insurance is very high. Get a reasonably cheap, used, reliable fun car. Insurance rates go down in time. A used Mustang is a good option and, admittedly, my dad's '14 GT is more fun than my '24. In hindsight, I might should have bought a clean 2014 GT instead. My...
Noticed I'm getting a lot of pad material built up on my rotors at 5600ish miles. Should I be concerned? My car is a base model GT. Drive like I have all my cars and never had much issue with brakes before except just wear/tear. In my other performance oriented cars I've mainly had metallic pads...
ASC rails, SoCal front and lowered rear crossmember, ā41-ā48 X member. Want to keep the rails unboxed to make life easier running the brake lines, fuel lines and wiring. It needs to be built in a fixture and I only plan to build 1 so Iād be better off just having someone with a fixture build it...
Your car is sharp. With the IFS probably drives great. Mine will be as close to late '50s-'64ish build as possible. No frames I've found are close enough short of an original but I'll leave those to guys who need them to title their cars. Never driven a buggy spring car looking forward to trying...
Hopefully I'm in the right area.
Had a bit of bad luck. About a week ago I was driving to work and I had some cats run across the road. Despite my best effort, my lower grille insert is now broken and it also appears part of the shutters are broken.
I will be going through the dealership to...
We know the Mustang just had the worst sales year in it's history. Perhaps the orders from Europe were simply too low to justify.
Regarding the tariffs, they are still rather low compared to the past.
The Limeys call their humor ātaking the pissā. An odd bunch for sure.
I thought the synthetic fuel thing was neat. Probably will never get it in the US. Not creating more pollution it sounds, just recycling whatās already there. Iām sure it costs considerably more to produce than normal...
Great looking Mustang. I think they look best with the spoiler delete, personally. Mine has received some positive complements over it, too. It is a very clean look.
I like the Kenny Brown jacking rails because they're plated so they're more corrosion resistant. Eventually want to install the Steeda Stop the Hop kit, anyone happen to know if they will work together?
You know, I really miss driving gutted cars that were just loud and fun with no worries.
I would trade in my car today for: a 2500-3000 lb 2 seat front mid engine coupe. Coyote scaled down to 2.5-3.5L with 7500 rpm redline, forged rotating assembly, all made domestically. Linear throttle...
