Does not happen in my A10.

So this must be a manual only thing.

Do the new tunes tune this out? Is it necessary for some reason with a clutch to keep the driveline from breaking?
I have an A10.

I work for a consortium of dealers but we don't own a Ford , but we do have 2 ford master techs poached for our Mazda store.

I'm going to ask them to do some dataloging with their Ford specific tools and see if theres something apparent.

I felt it on mine at exactly at 6000rpm, had one of the service advisors drive it and told him to look at the 6000rpm mark, he noticed it as well. They told me they had no fix for it. I went away for 3.5 weeks and came back and haven't notice it anymore or maybe haven't been paying much attention to it.

Heres my original thread:

Sorry I never updated. So we took a 2024 get off the lot we got on trade and tried to duplicate it. Absolutely nothing.

We logged my car and the Ford master techs think it's just making more power than it should stock. That it's taking torque and power inputs and limiting it per stock tune parameters.

Obviously the stock A10 can handle more power and it has to be tuned out.

We don't know if it's updated calibration to protect the dark horse numbers or what but their data logs cut rpm and shifting when hitting the limiters. It's a silly concept because the dark horse engine is physically better in every way.

I'm just going to tune it out and forget about it. That's what the consensus is about it. On to my other problems with this s650.

UPDATE

I recently got a p0390 check engine light (at about 12,000 miles). They replaced it and the problem went away, now it shifts smoothly until redline

So did this this "hesitation" (for me, it's like you lift off the throttle 50% for a moment around 6500rpms... then the power comes back on) stop after the cam sensor? I was under the impression based on feedback here that 1 of the 2 throttle bodies closed somewhat to limit the TQ into the next gear. Lots of things going around back-and-forth on this issue.
