Just picked up a new 2025 GT Premium. Traded in my 2016 GT.

First impression is expectations exceeded but I was expecting a tighter clutch. Just a cheap factory clutch?

I was wondering what others think about it.

Mine was juddering a lot the first day I drove mine. Shook the whole car. Turning off the traction control helped and it’s been getting better the more I drive it.

Mine has small shuddering cold and goes away when the car/clucth warms up. Not what I expect but not a big issue so far. Only about 950 miles on the odo

I guess that depends on what you are comparing it to. If comparing with a cable clutch from previous generations of mustangs, then the newer clutch feel will no doubt be much looser/ lighter feeling. I personally put in the Steeda clutch spring and it helps the feel but it still is very light in comparison to say my 2004 Mach 1. I'm not sure about the feel of a 2016...shouldn't be that much different. My 2011 felt similar to this 2024.

Surface rust on the plate after a longer sit?

Mine will do it too and it goes away after the first drive. If the car is driven daily, it won't happen.

Mine’s no daily driver but I don’t think rust is an issue. Usually driven on the weekends and parked in a dry garage always. I think it’s weird that it does that at all but I’m not taking it in for service or anything. Just wondered if anyone else has similar experience.

Mine does and I'm pretty sure it's the surface rust issue. The rotors flash over pretty fast too.

It works just fine but I expected it to be harder to push to the floor. This one is just so easy and doesn’t have the tension I was expecting.

Yes the 2016 was much tighter and I had a 2004 Mach before that which was much tighter so yes exactly what I’m comparing it to…the past I have owned.

I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

Or I hope I’ll get used to it lol.
