So if a supercharger fails, that will also lead to the engine of the vehicle failing as well because of how the SC mounts/embeds into the engine, but with a procharger installation it's basically a heavy duty bolt on type of mod?
Yep. Plus the Whipple is 160 lbs. And you know how people complain about the weight of the S650. The Procharger is 47 lbs. For the whole kit. That whipple fails parts entering could disable it.

The fact that there is no way to rectify the high oil temp issue (at least to the car's computer) is one of the most disappointing things about the base GTs. I hope Ford sorts this one out for the aftermarket community but having seen the other bizarre decisions Ford has made with the S650s, I wouldn't be surprised if it is what it is.

Every manufacturer offers good, better, best. You buy what you can afford and then apparently complain that it doesn’t do what the more optioned models offer. Imagine that.
Yeah that’s what I told the guy, the base GT is cruiser/street car. I got the PP for that reason.

Back roads of Tx. We ride roads, not tracks. My daughter will be first in the band to race at the drag strip in a few years. She has nice choices DH Tremec, GT A10.
Would you say base GT is superior since it’s lighter and faster?

Not sure. Depends how it's set up. May slap 3.73 heard this weekend with GT350 1/2 shafts, then 19s squared or staggered. Have to make up my mind. Could mess up my top end, but the planned Procharger would help that big time. But the reason a 300A beat the 401A, PP, Magnaride, 6 speed, all bells and whistles was the A10. Got him on 3 rolls, 3 digs. But the 401A would tear him up on the track. To be fair.

Would you say each trim is good at its own respects?
